Yesim is a fast-growing telecommunications company and a game-changer in the industry, offering revolutionary eSIM solutions.
As Yesim operates in 180+ countries, the multi-regional scope has become the core challenge of the project. That’s why the Promodo’s team had to:
When the client approached Promodo, they had an established website and a mobile application available across European countries. As their corporate website lacked a blog section, they missed considerable opportunities for organic traffic growth and lead generation.
To achieve the desired results, the Promodo team implemented a comprehensive approach, including every stage—from creating the blog page on the website to developing interesting and conversion-focused content.
To launch an effective blog section on the Yesim website, first, Promodo’s SEO team conducted a deep analysis of the eSIM service market and competitors across various regions.
We identified the two top languages for informational content in the target regions, namely English and Russian, as they are the most widely used in the market and relevant geolocations.
Based on the analysis, Promodo’s team developed technical specifications for implementing an SEO-optimized blog section on the website. This section should be comfortable and easy to use for readers and meet requirements for good search engine ranking.
To create a content strategy, Promodo’s experts conducted a content analysis within the eSIM market to identify relevant and popular topics for attracting organic traffic used by competitors.
To reach the best results, we looked for article topics that were equally relevant and interesting across different regions. We selected several content areas based on informational queries, including eSIM usage guides, Yesim product technology features, travel destinations, fascinating vacation spots, the process of eSIM operator selection in different countries, etc.
In spite of the fact that the developed content strategy had a great potential of attracting traffic from chosen regions, a considerable challenge for Promodo’s team to make the content covert traffic to leads.
To enhance lead generation, we integrated call-to-action (CTA) blocks into the blog posts, offering readers a unique discount code for the service. This serves as an extra incentive to convert readers into users while also functioning as a tracking tool for leads, with a unique code assigned to each article.

We also added lead-generating descriptions of the service to the article content. These descriptions align with the overall narrative and provide valuable information without being intrusive. Instead of aggressively promoting the service, they subtly suggest its use, making it a natural continuation of the text and engaging for the target audience.
As a result, Promodo’s content marketing team wrote 292 SEO-optimized articles in both English and Russian languages to attract organic traffic from diverse regions. The content included:
“We avoid publishing ‘advertorial’ blog articles that only highlight the benefits of our brand. For instance, when comparing eSIM providers, we present accurate and comprehensive information about both our competitors and ourselves. By providing valuable information and the maximum content benefit, we build trust with our readers. At the same time, incorporating non-aggressive service descriptions and personalized promo codes in the content allows for high conversion”. – Vira Sechkina, Senior SEO Content Writer
In 5 months after the blog’s launch, it generated 505,900 sessions from organic traffic alone.
However, the content strategy launched increased not only traffic but also sales. The blog contributed to an approximately 25% increase in sales, which is a considerable business result.
